The 5 football player premium symbols pay between 2 and 4 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. Winning symbols are removed via the Avalanche mechanic, and replaced by new and/or existing symbols dropping down to fill the gaps. Each reel comes with a multiplier above it, and it starts at x1 for each reel. There are a couple of reasons to choose Firekick! MultiMax over the original MultiFly release, so let’s start with the most obvious one. The FIFA World Cup in Qatar starts late November 2022, and this is obviously Yggdrasil’s contribution in that regard. Players who are into football might appreciate the stadium atmosphere you get in Firekick! MultiMax, and the audiovisuals are decently done without being anything too special either.

The reel multiplier feature does its thing just as well in this installment as in the original, and a bonus buy option has now been included for players in certain jurisdictions (not UK for sure). The 10,000x potential remains the same, and tension builds when the reel multipliers only keep building in the bonus round. However, you get only 6 free spins from 3 scatters in this version, while MultiFly gives you 10. Perhaps a pure reskin job would’ve been a better choice, and overall we prefer the original despite being football fans.
