We’ve seen the BIG BuildUp™ concept in a few previous installments from Crazy Tooth, but this time it really caught our attention. 777 Super BIG BuildUp Deluxe may look like your regular fruit machine installment when you first fire it up, but it comes with charming animations and a highly enjoyable cyclic base game. You keep stacking wilds, multipliers and the Deluxe Prize, until the BuildUp feature suddenly hits out of nowhere to deliver the goods.

Similar things happen in the previous releases as well, not least in Lucky Clucks BIG BuildUp™, but we found the audiovisual experience to be far more likable in this release. The 15,000x potential is bumped up significantly as well, which always helps. It’s literally raining wilds in the bonus round, where the grid can expand to unknown heights.

The premium fruit machine symbols pay 0.33x your stake for 3 of a kind and 0.73x for 5-oak wins. The Wild symbol steps in for all pay symbols to help complete wins, and you win by landing matching symbols anywhere on adjacent reels.

You also have 3 passive non-paying symbols, and these are collected in stacks above the grid to be used when the Big BuildUp feature triggers:

• Wild Chip - appears on top of regular symbols on reels 1 and 2, and it’s collected as a stack above the relevant reel.
• Multiplier Chip - appears as a golden star chip on top of other symbols on reel 4 and 5, and is collected to increase the multiplier above the reels by +1 (up to x5 at the most).
• Deluxe Star - appears as a golden star on reel 3, and it adds between 1.3x and 10x your stake to the Deluxe Prize on top of that reel.

The BIG BuildUp feature triggers at random times, and this awards at least one of the accumulated extras. The Deluxe Prize can go as high as 3,000x your stake, and you can get it boosted by the multiplier as well.

If you don't trigger the Deluxe Prize, the multiplier can be used to boost a regular win. The wild chip awards as many wilds as you’ve accumulated, and these will create one extra row each. All used passive symbols reset on the next spin.

You trigger the Super Deluxe Bonus Round when 3, 4 or 5 scatters appear anywhere in view, and this gives you 5, 7 or 9 free spins, respectively. You get at least 1 wild chip to stick per free spin, and this generates an extra row on the relevant reel(s). Wilds move one position down per spin until they drop off the bottom of the grid, and the bonus round cannot be retriggered in any way.

Review Summary

At first glance, we braced ourselves for yet another run-of-the-mill fruit slot, but 777 Super BIG BuildUp Deluxe took us by surprise in a highly positive way. The way the chips and coins spin when stacked on top of the reels are quite pleasing to the eye, and the same can be said about the Pachinko-inspired cascade of tumbling wild chips you get in the bonus round.

It all combines into a visual experience out of the ordinary, and it’s always fun to see how much you can expand the grid in the feature. The base game is kept interesting via the BIG BuildUp cycles, and the 15,000x win cap can be cracked from the Deluxe Prize if the x5 multiplier is involved. It adds up to a balanced and highly entertaining experience, and we liked this far better than the predecessor, Lucky Clucks BIG BuildUp.
