Yet another studio sees the light of day under the Games Global umbrella, and High Limit Studio has partnered up with Gold Coin Studios for their debut release; Mighty Titan Link and Win. It’s not an overwhelming debut with tons of bells and whistles, perhaps, but you get a decent underwater Greek mythology slot with a couple of tried and tested features. There are a few twists that make this worth checking out, however, but we have seen similar things before.

The base game comes with wilds to keep you going, and nothing much else, and the Link&Win Respins round is perhaps the biggest attraction. It comes with 3 special modifier symbols, as well as jackpot symbols, and you win 5,000x for a full grid. The bonus round can be quite lucrative as well, due to multiplying multiplier wilds up to x60, and the overall 6,000x potential is solid enough. Mighty Titan is hardly revolutionizing, but a decent first attempt nonetheless.

The premium symbols pay between 3.75 and 7.5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the top-tier purple-haired mermaid also pays for 2 of a kind. The underwater Poseidon dude with fish gills instead of ears figures on the Wild symbol, and the wild steps in for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve line wins. The wild can only land on reels 2 to 5, however.

You need at least 6 pearl symbols in view to trigger the Link&Win Respins round, and this is where you can win both cash prizes and jackpots. You start with 3 respins in your tally, and the triggering pearl scatters become sticky as cash symbols on an otherwise cleared grid. Only blanks, cash pearls, or special pearls will appear, and the respins tally resets to 3 as long as you land at least one non-blank symbol.

The regular white cash pearl scatters come with prizes up to 50x your stake, and you can also land jackpot pearls. In addition, you can land different colored special pearls that come with unique features. Below is an overview of what you can expect:

• Sapphire Pearl - adds its own value to at least two regular white cash pearls.
• Emerald Pearl - adds its own value to all present white cash pearls.
• Ruby Pearl - adds its own value to all white pearls persistently for each spin that follows.
• Mini, Maxi, Minor, & Major Jackpot Pearls - are worth 5x, 10x, 50x, and 500x your stake, respectively, and you can land multiple jackpot pearls during the feature.

Filling all 15 positions with any kind of pearl symbol lands you the 5,000x Mega Jackpot, and the overall win cap is 6,000x your stake.

The Poseidon’s Trident Scatter can appear anywhere in the base game, and you need at least 3 in view to trigger the Bonus Round. This awards 8 free spins no matter what, and you also get an upfront scatter win of 2x, 15x, or 100x your stake for 3, 4, or 5 scatters in view, respectively. You can trigger the Link&Win Respins round also from within the Bonus Round.

The Wilds are upgraded to Multiplier Wilds in the bonus round, and these can appear on reels 3, 4, and 5 only. You get multiplier wilds up to x2 on reel 3, up to x3 on reel 4, and up to x10 on reel 5. If more than one multiplier wild is involved in the same line win, the multiplier values multiply together for up to x60 boosts. You retrigger the bonus round by landing 3+ scatters in view.

Review Summary

We get that this is High Limit Studio’s debut release, but it does come across as a bit dated to be honest. It’s hard to tell if this is intentional or not with nothing to compare it to, but overall Mighty Titan Link and Win looks similar to many other releases that appear under the Games Global (Microgaming until recently) umbrella. You get a decent subsea adventure with some okay visual effects, and Poseidon is posing by your side all the way.

The base game is barebones, so you’re basically spinning along to trigger 1 of the 2 main attractions. The Link&Win round elevates itself above average by including some decent special modifier symbols, although the persistent Ruby pearl seemed particularly elusive. The multiplier wilds bonus round is fairly standard stuff as well, but the multipliers can add up to solid payouts. The overall 6,000x potential is not too shabby, but we wouldn’t say High Limit Studio is bursting onto the scene with a release like this.
