Throne of Amun-Ra is a highly entertaining Egyptian-themed cascading slot played on a 5x5 reels of symbols paying for 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols across 5 horizontal and 5 vertical fixed winlines.

During each game cycle the Symbols contained in any line wins achieved will explode to remove the winning symbols and create a new Wild Symbol in its place. All symbols will drop down to the base of the matrix, filling any gaps created below any remaining symbols. Any new matching symbols created as a result on a win line repeat the action. Whenever an entire column is removed from the screen the remaining columns of symbols to the right of the gap will shuffle left. Cascades continue until no new matches are created at which point the results will be calculated and any wins paid accordingly.

Whenever Wilds are the only symbol type remaining on any active win line then the Wilds will pay as if they are the highest value standard paid symbol. A winning game cycle of three or more matching symbols will produce a Scarab which will fly down from the Win Summary panel to help charge the Level Up meter. A fully-charged Level Up meter (achieved whenever two winning game cycles appear consecutively) activates the Power of the Gods, and releases Amun-Ra to take up his empty Throne. Whilst any iteration of Amun-Ra sits on his Throne he can randomly award Reel Modifiers on losing games.

The Powers of the Gods modifiers increase their value the closer the Mummy gets to becoming the fully formed eagle-headed God. The levels are diminished whenever 5 losing game cycles have been returned – this is identified on screen via the Level Down Meter which will show five lights at the beginning of any Level Up event and gradually extinguish them one by one for each losing game cycle.
