The generic ancient Egypt theme cannot escape being overused, but the audiovisual experience is still pleasant once you get settled in. There’s no denying that we see a lot of similar Hold & Win releases every month, but Spirit of Egypt still made a pretty good impression. The music and the sound effects have an almost hypnotic effect, and with the turbo switched on the pace is pretty pleasant too. The visual presentation might be somewhat generic, but it comes with a color scheme full of enjoyable contrasts.

The bonus round with synced reels can deliver 250x your stake on a single spin at the most, so larger payouts are most likely to come from the Hold & Win feature. Having the money symbols merge is not only visually pleasing, but it can be quite lucrative as well. A full screen plus the Grand Jackpot is what you need to crack the solid 6,000x potential, and considering the above, it’s not all that hard to forgive the ‘under par’ 95.43 % RTP.
