Hacksaw’s venture into the dark and grim dimension of reality has been a joy to follow, and this release is an audiovisual high note so far. The pace is excellent, the soundtrack captivating and the Soul Orbs concept is more than enough to keep the tension high in the base game.

The Underworld bonus round is indeed very volatile, but as always with this developer, expect the unexpected. Things can escalate quickly once a few multipliers have been activated, and truly massive win multipliers are possible. The Judgment feature is highly entertaining as well, but it’s easier to picture the 10,000x potential being cracked in the Underworld. You get a better average payout from the Judgment round however, as indicated by the bonus buy price.
