Pragmatic has set up a clever little “trap” here, to keep people spinning in the hamster’s wheel, so to speak. It’s one of those games where you’re supposed to root for losing spins, as this will eventually lead to a larger multiplier win.

However, in order to win big here, you’ll first need to lose big. While Aztec Gems offered random multipliers up to 15x, this game is all about the progressive multiplier ranges. The way it’s been set up means you’ll break even most of the time, something that’s also reflected in the low to medium volatility. You’ll spin and spin while getting nowhere chasing that 50x multiplier, all the while your bankroll is being drained slowly, but surely, by the 3.51 % default house edge.
