Review Summary

The Atlantis theme is nicely done, and we like how you get the sunken version of the legendary civilization in the base game, and then you’re taken to its glory days in the bonus round. You only get a brief glimpse though, as the reels block most of the view. The soundtrack adds a mysterious aura that suits the explorer theme well, but each spin goes on for a tad too long even with the turbo switched on.

You might as well turn on the Super Stake, as there is very little action to be found in the base game. Decent symbol values can lead to payouts up to 2,500x your stake, at best, and occasional giant symbols on an enlarged grid is what you get in the bonus round. This increases the single spin max win to 5,000x, and full screen wins can happen out of the blue. This gave us a ‘Book of’ mechanic vibe, but most of the time you’ll merge only 2-3 reels. Overall, Atlantis Gold is a nice alternative to regular ‘book slots’, and the 10,000x potential is solid.
