The WeekendBinary game makes use of candlestick charts for strategy and entertainment.

Candlestick charts are widely being used in the financial markets to help understand the seemingly erratic movements of stocks and currencies and to allow prediction of future trends.

The game here represents the trends for roulette spins using candlestick charts and allows bets on trends of roulette results, rather than bets on the outcome of a single spin.

The objective is to pick if a chart will finish higher or lower than it started after some selected number of spins.

Return to player (RTP)

• The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 98.65% for both CALL/UP and PUT/DOWN trades on all three charts - Red/Black, Odd/Even and Low/High.
• The house edge on expired trades is house edge 1.35%.
• A strategy of only Early Exiting has an RTP of 93.93%

Game Events are Roulette Results.

• A traditional European roulette wheel - with alternating black and red numbers from 1 to 36 plus a green zero - is simulated using a gaming-certified random number generator (RNG).
• One roulette spin/ball drop is generated every second – this is known as a “tick”.
• Each roulette result then generates a tick candle. The candle has a height and direction. The height of the candle’s body is from 0 to 18 “pips” - one pip is the distance between adjacent ball drop slots on a roulette wheel – and the direction is up or down.
• The height in pips of a tick candle equals the distance between this ball drop and the previous ball drop on a roulette wheel. If the ball drop is a repeat of the previous ball drop then the candle height is 0. If the ball drop is zero then the candle height is 0, regardless of the previous ball drop.
• The succession of up or down candle heights accumulates as an increasing or decreasing pip total
• The game has three candlestick charts - Red/Black, Odd/Even and Low/High – that display the changing pip totals over the history of sequential spins. Each chart uses the same sequential roulette spins, but sets the up or down direction of the candle differently using the Candlestick Formula –See Appendix R2.
• The sequential roulette spins stream to all open player games, so that each player views the same global chart, giving the sensation of a global trading environment.

Betting

• The goal of a player is to select if a given chart’s pip total will be higher (=UP) or lower (=DOWN) after a selected number of spins.
  • The player bets by submitting a trade.
  • To make a trade the player selects. One of the three charts Red/Black, Odd/Even or Low/High. The number of spins to play. This is the called the Seconds to Expiry as there is one spin per second. The bet amount to stake.
  • The player then completes and submits his trade total by selecting either CALL/UP or PUT/DOWN.
  • The submitted trade opens at the current chart index value at the time of submission.
  • The player’s trade expires after the last of the selected number of spins.
• If the player has bet CALL/UP then his trade wins if the trade expires with a chart index value above its opening value.
• If the player has bet PUT/DOWN then his trade wins if the trade expires with a chart index value below its opening value.
• The payout for a winning trade is at odds 0.973 to 1. For example, a winning trade of $100 will return $197.30 being the stake of $100 plus winnings of $97.30
• If the trade expires with the chart index value at the same value as when the trade started, this is a PUSH and the player’s original stake is returned in full.
• The player may submit further trades on this chart or another without waiting for his current trade to expire so may have many trades open at the same time across any of the charts.
• The game offers the player a payout to Early Exit each unexpired trade. This Early Exit payout re-calculates after each spin using the odds of the trade winning from the current index value, less a 10% house commission.
• The players can ignore the Early Exit offer and let his trade run to expiry.
• The player only has the time between spins to accept the offer with the displayed payout before the offer changes. The player’s speed of response affects if the Early Exit is accepted with the displayed payout, or the player misses the Early Exit as button updates, or the player click is on the new updated offer.
• All payouts are rounded to a currency unit by rounding to the nearest currency unit.
• The game provides a player history of all open and closed trades.
