You might have something of a shock when you first enter this game, because it’s not entirely clear whether you are playing a slot or having a game of chess, the reels filled entirely with chess pieces. These pieces are even a combination of white and black (well, grey and brown to precise) just as you would find on a chess board. Each basic spin at this slot works in the same way as at any other slot, as you’ll need to land symbols in a row on a win line to win a cash pay-out (from left to right), however the chess part of the game comes during the features of the slot.

This is a very nice looking game, the chess pieces nicely drawn and having a character of their own, all performing a little animation when becoming part of a win. The background to the slot is a chess board, which perhaps isn’t a surprise, the board placed outside on the grass on a sunny day. The sound at this slot is particularly good, an almost movie-like theme building up the tension as you play, which improves during the feature rounds.
