Winning symbols are removed via the Avalanche mechanic, and you get a wild symbol in one of the empty spaces each time. Although far from bad, there is something about the presentation that doesn’t feel quite like the Yggdrasil we know. People and studios change however, and Calavera Crush is a highly playable game by all means.

Combining avalanche scatter wins with an incrementing multiplier makes for a pretty interesting base game experience. It’s not something you see too often, and it can certainly lead to solid payouts as well. This is not least the case in the bonus round, where everything is enhanced, and the multiplier can jump +10 out of the blue. The 5,000x potential feels unnecessarily restrictive for this kind of setup, but it’s not really a potential you can complain too much about either.
