We weren’t too impressed by what Hacksaw has conjured up in Break Bones to be honest, but we get that it can be tempting to churn out simple releases that recycle some of their innovations. The previous 3x3 Spins installment, Fruit Duel, came across as far more charming than this gray/dark graffiti release, but the visuals may appeal to a certain crowd.

Some say Hacksaw has lost their creative mojo recently, but it’s hard to keep innovation up in every single release. Break Bones does have its moments though, not least when you get a repeating wild multiplier or two in the EchoSpins feature. You get more of these in the bonus round, but the 3,333x potential is well below the 10,000x you get in Itero EchoSpins.
