Realistic are one of those mid-range studios that rarely impress us with blockbuster releases, but that can no doubt produce plenty of rock-solid slots of all kinds. With Book of Charms, they came up with a fine addition to the growing supply of “Book of” slots, and we can’t really complain about that, can we? After all, this niche is still rather popular, and there are plenty of players that just can’t get enough of it. The playing field is completely classic here, too, featuring 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 paylines.

The big draw of the slot, then, is its fresh theme that has its background split right in the middle. On the right side, there’s an enchantress of sorts, while the left side features an adventurer in front of a pyramid. Both characters are animated, too, which adds a fair bit to the game’s atmosphere. Overall, the production values are high, and we are glad that someone was able to come up with something a bit new for the “Book of” niche. Seeing another one of those slots set in Ancient Egypt would feel like a chore.
