Interview with Mirela Agatonovic, product manager for Lottery games in EGT Interactive

Welcome! Glad to have you in this week's SlotCatalog provider interview series. Please, introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Mirela Agatonovic. I am a product manager for Lottery games in EGT Interactive.

Let's get straight down to business. Your recent slot, Burning Keno, has been available on the market for some time. Has it been received well by players?

Burning Keno is accepted well. I believe the main reason behind this is that the game brings an entirely new level of experience by keeping the user involved throughout the game and providing many user-focused features.

For those who aren't acquainted with the genre, can you please tell me what are Keno games and what makes them so popular?

Lottery, in general, is one of the oldest betting models. The challenge here was to build better features on top of this traditional model. Hopefully, it will be something that players will enjoy and have fun with.

It's not a type of game you use to release very often. Why have you decided to cover the niche?

With this game particularly, the reason behind is portfolio expansion, bringing the new Keno game up, is simple – we have a vast experience in slot games, with many lessons learned over the time, which we managed to collect and streamline, building a totally new approach on lottery games.

Has it been challenging to develop a Keno game with a modern twist?

Good user experience is always a challenge. Hence, we are constantly improving in this field while still keeping an eye on preserving all the segments of the classic gameplay.

What makes Burning Keno special, and what should make players feel drawn to play it?

What we are trying to do here is to offer user-centric features.

While playing Burning Keno, the user gets the feeling of a real-time game because of the withdraw every 30 seconds. The game could be played with one to ten numbers, and the player is getting an immediate payout based on how many numbers they are playing with.

Additionally, there are real-time sorting, instant re-bet functionality and a quick overview of hot and cold numbers.

There is one more interesting option - it's playing with more than seven numbers, a player could get a payout even when none of those was matched. - Win when there is no win

Well, that's been a pleasure to chat with you; thanks. Before we roll this up, is there anything you would like to add?

The only thing in addition that I would like to mention is that we are having another title of a lottery game, called 'Lotto 5/35 Plus’. The release is right behind the corner. We will keep you posted on that one as well.
