There are 3 Superhero features that can trigger at random times, and you will then see the reels freeze over. One of the following features play out when this happens:

• Multiplier Wild - also comes with random wilds anywhere, and a multiplier between 2x and 5x will boost any winnings.
• Expanded Reels - converts the reel set to 5x4 with 40 paylines, and wilds may land on all reels.

The 3 randomly triggered Superhero features break up the base game in a nice way though, and the 5,000x potential is decent. You will need to go with the Multiplier bonus round option to land such amounts on a single spin however, as the 2 other options come with a single spin max win of 1,000x or 2,000x. Unlocking medals, weaponry and backgrounds might be attractive to fans of the game, but it’s hardly enough to convert fence-sitters.
