The stunts performed by professional dirt bike riders can be stunning to behold, but there is hardly any ‘dare-deviling’ going on in USA Flip, unfortunately. The stadium is packed to the brim, but the bald eagle bike rider is content just sitting there strutting his stuff. The math model is far from risky as well, but the medium volatility might appeal to casual punters with an interest in motorsports.

We had our hopes up for some hefty animations, but the most you get is the bald eagle character walking across the grid as a full reel walking wild. This happens if a full stack of wilds appear on the middle reel in the near-win respins feature. You get more of the same on a flipped reel set in the bonus round. The 1,000x potential will hardly impress anyone though, and we’re used to better than this from Play’n Go.

The walking wild moves to the left in the bonus round, and you cannot land scatters during the walking wild feature.

Speaking of, the Bonus Round triggers from 3+ star bonus scatters in view, and this awards 12 free spins. The reels are flipped to reverse the order of the grid during the bonus round, and you can retrigger the feature by landing 3+ scatters on the same free spin. Review Summary

USA Flip is extremely “American”, we’ll give Play’n Go that at least, but not really in the best sense of the word. A bald eagle wrapped in the star spangled banner strutting the horsepower of his motorbike is almost involuntarily comical, cause it doesn’t seem like Play’n Go has done this with a sense of humor. We could be wrong, of course, but the game is below par for this developer either way.

The whole near-win respin feature wasn’t all that exciting to be honest, and walking wilds is hardly something we haven’t seen many times before. Flipping the reels in the bonus round is not really enough to save the day here, and especially not when 1,000x your stake is the most you can hope for on a good day. The win cap comes with a 1 in 100 million probability, and that’s also the probability we’ll ever return for a second go.
