Rarestone is showing no signs of slowing down their production of ever-new variations of the Fire Blaze concept, and Sisters Gift is the latest creation from the Playtech partner. It centers around 4 very attractive sisters, and the asian mountain landscape in the background is not exactly hard on the eyes either.

Visually, this is one of the better games in the series, but the biggest twist comes in the Hold & Respins feature here, and not so much in the bonus round. Granted, the free spins feature is different from the other games, just not in a very good way. The red gem collector symbol however, is something that can really make a difference.

The wild is a Chinese sign in golden type with a purple background, and we have no idea if it actually says “wild” in Chinese, or not. It can only land on reels 2, 3 and 4, and it will step in for all regular pay symbols like wilds usually do.

The green gem symbol is a bonus symbol that lands with cash values of either 1x to 5x, 10x, 25x or 100x. You need to land at least 6 green gems on the same spin to trigger the Fire Blaze Hold & Respin Jackpot feature. All triggering green gems become sticky on the reels, and you will now land only blanks, green or red gems.

Any green gem you land will turn into a random cash prize, or a Jackpot star symbol. The Jackpot star will turn into either the Mini (10x), Minor (25x) or Major (100x) Jackpot, and you have then secured whatever jackpot it turns into. You start with 3 respins, as usual, and the tally resets to 3 whenever you land at least one green or red gem on the reels.

The red gem is unique for this game, and it can be quite lucrative. Whenever a red gem lands, it will reveal a cash prize that’s equal to the sum of all the green gem cash prizes that are already present on the reels. You win the Grand Jackpot of 2,000x your stake when you fill all 15 reel positions with green and/or red gems, and/or star symbols.

The Grand Jackpot of 2,000x your stake comes on top of any smaller jackpots you might win also, in addition to the regular cash wins from the green and red gem symbols. The max win potential in this game is therefore a bit above 2,000x your stake.

Finally, we have arrived at the bonus round. You trigger the feature by landing 3 scatters anywhere on the reels, and this gives you 6 free spins. You will first choose between the 4 beautiful sisters, and each sister comes with a unique number. It works as follows:

• Green sister - 100 instances are added to the reel strips.

Review Summary

Sisters Gift is visually stunning, with the cherry blossom backdrop and the 4 beautiful sisters on the reels. As usual in this series, you get a unique bonus round, albeit not with the most exciting twist this time. Getting a certain number of 1x1 and 1x2 sister symbols added to the reel strips will hardly raise your pulse, and it feels more like a warm-up band than the main headliner.

Speaking of, an interesting twist has been added to the Hold & Respin Jackpot feature this time, namely the red gem collector symbol. Landing a few of these beauties towards the end can really boost your regular cash win, but you still need the 2,000x Grand Jackpot to really make a dent in this game.
