Taking a page from Book of Ra (the classic game that inspired an entire genre of slot games) Scroll of Egypt combines the popular expanding reels Free Spins mechanic with paylines that pay from left to right, and right to left (Twin Pays). Now, on to the classic “Book Of” functionality. At the start of the Free Spins round, a reel symbol is randomly chosen to become the expanding symbol. Gamble Feature

The Gamble Feature offers players a chance to increase their winnings. This feature can be configured by the player to be active or inactive. If the Gamble is active, the Gamble Feature will automatically trigger on any win greater or equal to 5x your wager.

While the “Book Of” mechanic is wildly popular with players, it tends to be somewhat overused. The game art isn’t bad, but we have seen much better Egyptian themed games out there (although it must be said we loved the Horus, Anubis and Scarab symbols).
