What are the bonus features?

The first thing you’ll notice when you load in Jungle Gorilla is the multipliers on display above each of the 5 reels. You need to land golden gorilla coin scatters to increase the respective multipliers, and each time you land 1 scatter the corresponding reel multiplier is increased by +1. All the multipliers start out at 1x, but they can be increased to 5x as the highest possible value.

The multipliers will only boost your winnings when you win with a wild symbol however, and this also resets the multiplier to 1x again. Only the reel multiplier on the reel where the wild symbol lands will be applied, but landing more than one wild in a winning combo is also possible. This is where things can get interesting, as the multiplier values are multiplied with each other.

We’ll give you an example. Let’s say you have a 5x multiplier on reel 1 and a 4x multiplier on reel 3. Then you land a winning combo with a wild on each of these 2 reels. The combined multiplier boost will now be 4x5 which equals 20x. The gorilla scatter lands quite often, so building up the multipliers is not all that hard here.

We are usually a bit skeptical of games with no bonus round, but all the multiplier action had us intrigued from the get-go here. We are always eager to try new slots, and we therefore loaded in Jungle Gorilla with some anticipation and excitement in the air.

Make no mistake about it, you will get a lot of dead spins in this game, but it feels good as long as the multipliers keep building. This is really what saves the day here, as it keeps the game from being too boring and tedious. We got ourselves a nice multiplier line-up after a little while, and we kept wondering when it was going to pay off.

Suddenly we landed a wild on reel 1 and another wild on reel 4, and the multiplier values dropped down to boost our win by a combined value of 20x.
