Red Tiger has done a solid job creating a female counterpart to the most iconic slot character of all time. Gonzita is a charming energy bomb who’s not afraid to be herself, and she does an impressive ‘Las Ketchup’ dance when larger wins are summed up. Visually, the game is solid all the way, but we’re afraid many players expect a bit more whenever a follow-up to Gonzo is released.

The base game could’ve been far better with some more features or modifiers to spice things up, as the multiplier trail from the original Gonzo’s Quest is long gone. The bonus round is pretty entertaining though, but you’ll probably need to get diamond reels to land anything significant. Speaking of, the 2,580x potential is lower than the original. We can easily picture future installments where the two pair up and sparks are flying, so this could be the start of something big.
