You can turn on/off the Super Stake feature between base game spins, and keeping it on doubles your bet size. The benefit is an increased chance of triggering the Hold & Spin Bonus. The symbols pay between 0.25 to 10 x your stake for 8 or 9 matching in view, and 2 to 50 x your stake for 12+ matching in view. There are no wild symbols, and the Cascading mechanic allows for indefinite extra wins per round.

Turning on the Super Stake ante bet has one additional benefit we didn’t mention above. It gives you Multiplier Symbols in the base game. The multiplier symbols come with values of x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x12, x15, x20, x25, x50, or x100, and they boost the total win. StakeLogic seems to have ironed out the spin pace problem we pointed out in our Candy Wild Bonanza review, and this goes for this installment as well (we probably tested a pre-release demo to be fair). Fruity Wild Bonanza Hold and Spin is basically the original game’s healthier sibling, as candy has been replaced by fruits. It’s probably a good idea to choose this version if you’re on a diet, or if you’re worried about the next dentist bill.

Other than that, however, it doesn’t really matter much what you choose, as the two games are close to identical in terms of features, gameplay and math model. The Super Stake seems worthwhile since it does add a lot more tension to the base game, and the Hold & Win round comes with some decent modifier action. The 20,000x potential is solid, and it’s way above the run of the mill installments you may find in the streak respins genre.
