Nobody particularly likes hospitals to begin with, and as much as 10 % of the population suffers from a more severe anxiety with regards to this. This condition is known as Nosocomephobia, and NoLimit City’s Disturbed is hardly the right medicine to cure anyone. This game plays out in a horror hospital nobody would want to end up in, and it’s apparently run by a certain Dr. Death. Disturbed is not as psychologically haunting, perhaps, and more of a physical horror show instead. It almost looks like NoLimit City is starting to run out of controversial subject matters to sink their teeth into for each new release, as Disturbed comes with a somewhat similar theme as Mental. As we’ve said before, the unafraid studio would be better served doing regular and lighter themes combined with dark themes like this, like Hacksaw does. When you expect Mental level insanity per release you grow numb to it, and it’s just not as “disturbing” anymore.

That being said, Disturbed is another solid installment from the popular developer, without really breaking new ground. The xBet feature is appreciated, as it shortens the time between bonus round triggers significantly while giving you a modifier per spin as well. The volatility is high as it usually is, and the 54,391x potential comes with a 1 in 10m spins hit rate from the base game, a 1 in 57K spins hit rate from the Pre-Op feature, and a 1 in 1.5K spins hit rate from the Annihilation feature. The latter is hard to trigger, as you can imagine, and this is hardly for people who suffer from nosocomephobia.
