The alchemy studio looks like it’s made for and by a human being, but apparently it’s the chambers of the alchemist magician cat and his wizard rat friend. The visual presentation is overall solid, and AbraCatDabra is a somewhat clever title. Some will probably find the theme and the title a bit childish though, and it’s hard to blame them.

The base game is all about landing the 1x3 sized wild fully in view on the middle reel, as this is guaranteed to give you 1 of 3 respin features. It can also trigger the bonus round if you’re extra lucky, and the feature comes with nothing extra except the possibility retriggers. The Pick Bonus comes about at random times via the collected star icons, and you can win up to 5,000x your stake in several different ways in this game.

The premium symbols pay between 10 and 25 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the rat symbol can land in size 1x2 while the top-tier cat symbol can land in sizes up to 1x3. The multiplier respin can potentially crack the 5,000x potential, so this is pretty much what you’ll hope for each time.

Of course, the bonus round triggers less frequently than the respin features, and it’s a bit disappointing that nothing extra goes on in the feature. The Pick Bonus adds an extra layer of excitement to the game, as it can trigger at any time. You need to get to the Gold Board to truly make a dent however, and this is yet another way to reach the 5,000x win cap. Overall, AbraCatDabra is a mediocre installment, but the theme might charm a certain player segment.
