Following the original Joker Coins release, TaDa Gaming returned to the concept with Joker Coins Expanded, pushing the format even further. The game is a part of the popular Hit the Cash™ lineup and comes with 45 ways to pay alongside a maximum winning potential of 5,000x the bet. Coin collection remains the core mechanic, supported by four fixed jackpots, a Lock & Respin bonus round, and the returning Throw Joker Coins feature.
The action plays out on a 3-5-3 grid set against a purple backdrop, with the Joker positioned above the reels and a stack of coins sitting overhead. Symbol-wise, the game sticks to familiar ground, mixing classic fruit, bars, and bells with a Triple 7 Wild. Coins drive most of the payouts, including Joker Coins with 2x–10x multipliers on reels one and three, a Bonus Joker Coin on the middle reel that gathers all coin values, and separate jackpot coins tied to fixed prizes.
If a Joker Coin lands on either the 1st or 3rd reel along with a Bonus Coin in the middle one, all visible money values are collected and paid to the player instantly. Landing at least one coin on each reel, in turn, activates the Lock & Respin bonus round.
Only special symbols show up on the reels during the bonus, with all coins from the triggering spin carried over to the feature. The Bonus Joker Coin remains available on the 2nd reel and keeps accumulating values until the very end of the round. The round begins with three respins and resets each time a new coin symbol lands.
Four colorful Jackpot coins for Mini (15x), Minor (25x), Major (100x), and Grand (1,000x) will also only be visible on reels one and three, adding to the fun and possibilities of this quick play slot game.
Keeping players on their toes, a random bonus round can be triggered when the pile of coins at the top of the grid suddenly explodes, launching between one and nine additional Joker Coins onto the grid.
