The Joker wild symbol can land on all 6 reels, and they pay the same as the highest value blue star symbol. Land 6 on a payline, and you win 5x your stake. Whenever you land a wild symbol, all instances of a randomly selected pay symbol will be transformed into wilds. Landing more than 1 wild means that an equal number of symbol sets will be transformed into wilds as the number of wilds you landed.

Pragmatic Play has made a delicate looking fruit slot with Joker King, but it’s kind of a mixed bag. The low symbol value combined with only 25 paylines (on a 6x4 grid) seems a bit forced. Increase the win ways to match the reel set, and you would not get to see the features very often. It would be a different kind of high volatility game, with endless base game grinding and features that paid out more when they finally hit.

What you get here is plenty of wild triggers in the base game, but they seldom lead to anything too significant. A nice touch is the scatter multipliers that can combine into very respectable payouts, and it’s a way to make the symbol more useful than in most games. The bonus round is certainly eventful, with wild transformations on every spin, but you will need solid scatter multiplier action to get close to the 5,000x potential.
