As mentioned above, the name of the game here is to collect Sun Frames. This is true for both the base game and the bonus round. Whenever you land a Moon symbol, the position becomes marked by a golden sticky Sun Frame. 

When you land a Moon symbol in an already framed position, all Sun Framed positions will turn wild. This is called the Eclipse feature, and you will also benefit from a multiplier equal to the number of Sun Frames that got triggered by a Moon symbol.

You need to land 3 feathered blue-face warrior scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 to trigger the Sticky Sun bonus round. All Sun Framed positions are carried over from the base game, and you get 10 free spins to start with. 

Any wild symbols that land will create a Sun Frame on the same reel position on the next spin, and Sun Frames will remain in place for the duration of the free spins feature. With Ancient Eclipse, Bang Bang Games takes a stab at the overpopulated Mayan culture genre. Audiovisually, they have created a decent enough title, with some nice animated symbols and a neat tribal soundtrack. However, the Sun Frame Eclipse feature doesn’t really deliver most of the time, which conditions you to dislike it after a while. 

You will mostly grind along with smaller wins in the base game, and it can take a good while before the bonus round is finally triggered. The free spins feature doesn’t stand out all that much from the base game either, which makes it a bit of an anti-climax. Of course, that depends largely on how much you win, and a 4,595x potential is decent enough for a game that feels more volatile than its stated medium variance level.
