We had to google 5 Clans + “tv show” and “movie” just to see if this was some kind of branded effort, as the semi-realistic visuals gave us that impression. We couldn’t find anything however, but you do get some action from each of the clans in the form of modifiers and features. These will trigger once in a while to spice up the base game, and the bonus round came with plenty of modifier action in our experience.

The features are not exactly revolutionary however, but they can be effective at times. Combining fierce-looking warriors with shiny, plastic-looking royal gems is perhaps not the most congruent mix, and overall the Reflex Gaming visual style is a bit all over the place. The game looks like it stumbled out of a time machine, and we hardly think this will be the big break for a developer that’s still looking for their voice.
