The simple brick and mortar slot machine charm is half the appeal, so it’s hard for Reel Time (Blueprint) to do any kind of audiovisual upgrade without upsetting the fan base.

The dated apparence is thus still going strong, and we don’t really mind, but more creativity will be needed in the feature department to keep the series going. It’s interesting that the Big Bass Bonanza franchise has managed to capture both the number one and number two spot in the Fishing slot genre, and we wouldn't be surprised if a copycat effort is in the works. More action in the base game would be appreciated at this point, and so would a realistic potential estimate instead of the standard 50,000x capped at £250,000.
