With an overly excessive name, Fishin' Frenzy Reel 'Em In Fortune Play sticks to the concept of the original Fishin' Frenzy slot, though, as always, it has a few tricks of its own. The central feature is mentioned in the title, and that's basically what differs this title from its many other predecessors.

The series hasn't really ever boasted originality, and neither does the latest Fishin' Frenzy edition. On the outside, you won't surely spot the difference between this game and the first Reel Time Gaming release if we hide the name. However, you can't say it looks bad since the graphics are still OK and don't hurt your eyes. Whether it's Blueprint's nod to the past or simply lazy approach, you can't deny the game looks more outdated than stylish. Anyway, the classic-loving audience won't have anything to complain about here.

Dominating the view is a 5x3 reel set producing 10 ways to play. To start playing, bets from $0.1 to $10 are required. As you see, there are not too many options for high-rollers, unfortunately. The RTP is lower than the average level across the industry at 94.93%, which is kind of disappointing. However, using the Fortune Play feature the payback gets a slight boost and increases to 95.51%, though, we'll cover it shortly in the features section. The max win is capped at 50,000x the stake, or $250,000, whichever comes first.

The paytable comprises all the familiar symbols we've seen countless times before, with 10 regular symbols split in half into highs and lows. The lower lot includes classic A-10 card royals, while the higher-value symbols include fishing kits, lifelines, fishing rods, birds, and fish of different shapes and sizes. You need to land at least 3 matching symbols on the reels starting from the leftmost to score a win, and 5-of-a-kind wins pay from 10x to 200x the stake. The fisherman symbol is Wild, though, it appears only during the bonus features, covered below.

Landing 3 or more Scatters in view triggers the Free Spins feature and awards 10, 15, and 20 free games for 3, 4, and 5 triggering symbols respectively. Once the bonus starts, the fisherman Wild comes into play, substituting for any other regular symbols and collecting additional cash prizes. 

Fish symbols land with random cash values attached to them, ranging from 2x to 50x the stake. Whenever the Wild appears in view alongside fish symbols, it collects all cash values in view. If more than one fisherman lands on the reels, fish prizes can be collected multiple times. Finally, each fisherman Wild upgrades the lowest fish prize to the next value when it lands on the reels, as well as awards +1 free spin.

For those who think one grid is not enough, there's the Fortune Play feature, which allows playing with 4 reel sets at a time. During the bonus, the collection and upgrade features are active, but you can't trigger the Free Spins. However, the minimum bet is $2, while the maximum option is the same. Finally, keep in mind that the RTP is slightly boosted during the feature.

All in all, there's not much to say about this yet another Fishin' Frenzy installment. The series has got pretty much everything, but Blueprint keeps producing various Fishin' Frenzy makeovers again and again. Fishin' Frenzy Reel 'Em In Fortune Play doesn't have anything new to offer, and there's really little sense in switching to this game from previous releases. Nevertheless, Fishin' Frenzy fans might find a reason or two why they should try Fishin' Frenzy Reel 'Em In Fortune Play, so Blueprint's effort won't pass by slot enthusiasts anyways.
