You get decent water world visuals in Mermaid Queen Megaways, but the backdrop is static which makes it feel less alive than many similar games that come with fish and sea creatures that move around. You get the usual cascading wins system combined with the dynamic Megaways grid, as well as the fairly common mystery symbol feature thrown in for good measure. Nothing too special so far, but there is more to be seen in Mermaid Queen Megaways.

The bonus round gives you 3 options plus the mystery option, and the less free spins you go with the higher your starting win multiplier. This is hardly unheard of either, and the mystery option can be tempting once in a while. The big innovation in this game is the Build Your Bonus feature, and it’s therefore a bit sad that it will not be available for all players. It can be rather costly though, but it gives you a highly customizable sense of control. The 250,000x potential is rather extreme as well, but the top-tier RTP of 94 % is well below average.
